ABOUT SI LAB
Social Impact Lab is a weekly forum that offers a unique, inspiring opportunity for students to engage and learn from each other and a select group of external speakers.
We ask challenging questions and discuss thought-provoking issues that get at the heart of what it takes to make positive social and environmental change. We will hear from student and external leaders with experience in social sector organizations about their career paths, the compelling questions they’re facing in their work, and their aspirations for the future.
Speakers come from a wide range of backgrounds, including non-profits, B-Corporations, for-profit social enterprises, consulting firms, and other mission-driven organizations. Join us!

"The (quirky) US National Park Service: Navigating Project Scope Ambiguity"
Ceilia Gutentag and Ben Grotta (both MBA '23)
Wednesday, 4/05
11:45 am - 12:45pm
EVANS HALL, Room 4210
US National Parks are the weirdest business you will ever learn about. Join Ben (MBA '23) and Ceilia (MBA '23) as they discuss their summer experience consulting at a large national park in Ohio (who knew they had those?) where they (humanely) electrocuted fish. They will provide an inside look on the dynamics and challenges of operating a large national park. The interactive conversation will touch on developing park strategy while navigating changes in project scope and stakeholder preferences.
Lunch will be provided to all who REGISTER!
